How to Turn on App Notifications- Parent Edition

This guide will show you how to ensure you are receiving ChildFriendly notifications from your child's center, on your mobile device.

For iPhone Users

1. Open Settings: Launch the Settings app on your device.

Then Access Notifications- Scroll down and select Notifications.

2. Select ChildFriendly: Scroll through your app list, find the ChildFriendly app, and click to open its specific settings.

3. Enable Alerts: Switch the "Allow Notifications" toggle to ON.

4. Customize Style:

To ensure alerts stay on your screen until you interact with them, set the Banner Style to "Persistent."

  1. Enable Badges to see visual indicators for incident or health acknowledgments directly on the app icon.


For Android Users

  1. Open Settings: Launch the Settings app on your device.

  2. Access Notifications: Find and click on Notifications.

  1. Manage App Notifications: Click on App Notifications.

  2. Select ChildFriendly: Search in the search bar or scroll down to find the ChildFriendly app and click to open its settings.

5. Enable Alerts: Switch the "Allow Notifications" toggle to ON.

6. Customize Categories: Under Notification Categories, you can specifically select which types of alerts you wish to receive from the platform.
